Osteopathic Clinical Exercise | Healesville & Yarra Valley
Osteopathic Clinical Exercise may be suitable if you're:
Recovering from an injury or period of pain
Returning to exercise after time away
Looking to rebuild strength, mobility and confidence
Progressing from treatment into more active rehabilitation
Not yet feeling ready for a group exercise class
More comfortable exercising one-on-one
Looking for an individual exercise program based on your specific needs
You don't need any previous Pilates or reformer experience. Your exercises are selected and progressed according to your individual presentation and goals.

What Does a Session Involve?
Your osteopath will consider your symptoms, movement, strength and rehabilitation goals before developing an individualised exercise program.
Sessions may incorporate the Pilates reformer alongside strength, mobility and rehabilitation exercises. Your osteopath can modify and progress your exercises throughout the session as your capacity and confidence improve.
While you may recognise some exercises commonly used in Clinical Pilates, these appointments are provided as individualised osteopathic clinical exercise and rehabilitation, rather than a Pilates class.
Supporting Your Return to Exercise
For some people, there can be a big jump between recovering from an injury and feeling ready to return to independent exercise.
Osteopathic Clinical Exercise can help bridge that gap.
Your sessions can be progressively tailored towards the activities that matter to you, whether that's returning to the gym, a group exercise class, sport or simply feeling stronger and more confident with everyday movement.
