Ella Rose

IBCLC/Lactation Consultant

Available every other Friday.

Ella is a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and mum of three. Having experienced the joys and challenges of feeding her own babies, she knows that every family's journey is different. She is passionate about providing gentle, evidence based, and holistic support that meets you where you are. Her goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and confident as you navigate feeding your baby in a way that feels right for your family. Whether you're preparing to breastfeed, overcoming challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, she is here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.

Every breastfeeding journey is unique, and it's normal to experience challenges along the way.

She can help with:

  • Painful breastfeeding, sore or damaged nipples

  • Latch and positioning difficulties

  • Low milk supply or concerns about milk production

  • Oversupply and forceful let-down

  • Mastitis prevention and management

  • Breast refusal or nursing strikes

  • Slow weight gain or concerns about baby's milk intake

  • Tongue tie and oral function assessments

  • Breastfeeding premature or medically complex babies

  • Expressing breast milk and establishing pumping routines

  • Returning to work while continuing to breastfeed

  • Mixed feeding and combination feeding plans

  • Bottle feeding with breastfed babies and responsive feeding techniques

  • Weaning from breastfeeding when the time is right for your family

  • Breastfeeding after a difficult birth or caesarean

  • Breastfeeding during pregnancy and tandem feeding

  • Navigating growth spurts, cluster feeding, and changing feeding patterns

  • Building confidence and achieving your breastfeeding goals

Outside of her work supporting families, you'll most often find Ella embracing the beautiful chaos of mothering her three daughters, spending time in nature, or curled up with a good book. Motherhood continues to shape both who she is and how she supports others, reminding her that every family's journey is unique and deserving of compassionate and individualised care.
