Michelle is a positive and caring Advanced Exercise Rehabilitative Osteopath and ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist who is passionate about helping others achieve optimum health and well-being.

Michelle has a strong interest in sports injuries, exercise rehabilitation and women’s health, particularly pregnancy, post-natal care and caesarean section recovery. She uses a holistic approach to assist patients with their recovery, focusing not just on the presenting injury, but what has contributed to it occurring in the first place.

With over 11 years experience in sports medicine and injury management, Michelle has worked with athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to elite runners. She has years of athletic experience herself being a professional sprinter competing in the Victorian Athletic League, and previously as a representative netball player for the Ariels VCNA.

Michelle has obtained many further qualifications as a health practitioner to enhance her skill-set including a degree in Exercise Science, full matwork and reformer Pilates qualifications, and certificates in breastfeeding education, nutrition and office ergonomics. Michelle has also completed extensive further study in pregnancy, post-natal and caesarean section treatment, including scar release, and rehabilitation.

A consult with Michelle typically includes a thorough injury assessment and combination of both direct and indirect manual therapy techniques, including massage, joint articulation and stretching, along with personalised care plans incorporating exercise rehabilitation, education and lifestyle advice.

Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, fur babies and friends, running (around the athletics track and after her 2 kids), training in the gym, playing golf, snowboarding or travelling.
